Accessibility Statement
Vintage Group of Companies is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This includes:
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Keyboard navigation throughout the site
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate by heading and region
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled if your operating system requests reduced motion
- Clear form labels and error messages, announced to screen readers
Areas we're still improving
- The animated map on our home page is decorative and presented to assistive technology as a single labeled image
- The 3D-style hero photography includes a written alternative below it for context
- Live chat (when enabled) is provided by a third party; their accessibility support is governed by their own statement
Browser and assistive-tech compatibility
We test the site against:
- Recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- NVDA and JAWS on Windows
- iOS and Android touch interactions
